Fabric Requirements

BEST MATERIAL CHOICES
For the dress choose a Duchess satin, Brocade, or Jacquard. For the easier version with out zipper you will need a knit back in a matching colour. Knit fabrics with 2-3 % Lycra are best.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Pleated skirt: 2.2–4.4 yards (2-4m)
  • Gathered skirt: 1.5-2 yards (1.4-1.8m)
  • Bodice: 20-24 inches (30-60cm)

NOTIONS

  • 1/2 yard of lace for the center panel
  • Optional: Concealed zipper 15 inches (40cm) maximum length
  • Tulle:  maximum of 3 yards (2.8m)
