Minnie Easy Skirt

5 (1)

This lovely skirt is featured here with the 'Lily Top' also available from this shop.

This skirt is a total breeze. The pockets with the Minnie Mouse appliqué are a little time consuming but you can make this skirt in endless combinations without adding rick rack or appliqués. Just have a look at the lovely skirts my students have made in my sewing class.

Once you have made one you will be running them up all the time. Best of all it only takes 1/2m of fabric and 30 cm for the trim if you decide to add one.. In fact you may have some remnants knocking about which are perfect for this little number!

Not having a hem makes it so much faster and the trim really is a nice touch. The pocket is the same as I the one I included with the Megan dress, so you may already know a few techniques.

The waistband includes a flat front which makes this skirt look so much prettier then simply elasticating all the way around. Plus of cause you can use a contrast colour or fabric. From sailor look to this Minnie Mouse design, its a skirt for all occasions.

Whether you are an expert or just starting out the video tutorial will make it very clear what you have to do. If you are unsure if you can handle this pattern then simply watch the video to reassure yourself before you purchase the pattern.

A note for German customers: The pattern comes with German descriptions but the E-Book has not been translated yet. If you struggle with English do not buy this pattern.
