The Georgina Sun Dress Sewing pattern is a woven dress that has a loose fit with a pretty bodice just crying out to have some embellishment lovingly applied! The skirt ends above the knee but you can easily lengthen it if you like. The dress has no fastening, which makes it perfect for beginners. There is also a brilliant hack for the Georgina sun dress pattern on our blog you won’t want to miss out on that one. The black and white top is the one I hacked. Just adding a ruffle to the skirt and a wrap over at the back made this the most gorgeous hack ever.

It is also on track for an update really soon, so get it now while it’s offered at this super low price. The update will include age extension to age 12, additional videos, and the branded eBook look.

I loved this pattern. I haven't done any sewing for years. Now I have granddaughters, I thought I would love to make dresses. So glad I bought this pattern (and now many more from here!). This was straightforward and easy to make. The instructions were great and I had the video for any problems. Wish I had this type of pattern years ago and I would not have got fed up with problems and given up sewing! My little ones wanted to look the same, but one wanted a dress and one a top and shorts. Easy - I made the dress twice and shortened the biggest one into a top! Both were trimmed with Broderie Anglaise. I then made the Maisie shorts in the same fabric to match. They were the top outfits taken on holiday this year, and I am so chuffed!

I absolutely loved creating this dress according to the pattern. Not having sewn for years, it was easy to follow the instructions and I learnt a lot whilst working with the video playing right next to my sewing machine. I had lots of fun and loved every minute of creating this beautiful dress. Well, I made more than one :-). Thank you so much for the wonderful ideas you share. Carine

The Georgina dress is a perfect beginner dress. It goes over the head and has to closure. It has moderate ease and so many opportunities to be creative. I added lace both to the bodice and the skirt. Loved making these dresses when my daughter was about 3 years old.
