The Oscar boys shorts pattern is one of our best selling pdf sewing patterns – probably the best-fitting boy’s shorts sewing pattern you will ever buy? We think so. They have a comfortable waistband and a pull string to make them tighter if needed and an elasticated waist for a quick afternoon sewing project. Trust us, you’ll be making the Oscar boys shorts pattern again and again, especially as they only use half a yard of fabric! Last summer I added more sizes to the shorts, so they are perfect for teen boys too. My cousins son visited for the summer and at 6′ foot and 16 years of age he was my ideal model, to make sure the fit was perfect! As you can see they fit like a dream and he wore them all summer.     I hava question on the elastic on the Osacr Summer shorts how long of a peice of elastic for size 2-3‽
