Description:

Our Vivienne dress is the most gorgeous dress and has so many options. It’s a dress that you won’t want to miss out on.

With a little help from our digital PDF sewing pattern with easy to follow step-by-step video and photo tutorials you be sure to make quite a few of these awesome stunners.

Love the look but you think sewing this is a little too much... just yet....visit 'BowspokeAngels' on Etsy.com to have a gorgeous Vivienne custom made!

The Vivienne  dress is fitted with princess seam panels at the bodice, flowing into a flattering circle or box pleated slimmer cut skirt. It features a vintage Peter Pan collar, feature tabs with over-sized decorative buttons and closes with an invisible zip at the back. Choose from sleeveless or three quarter length sleeves, knee length, short or peplum length. If you are a Frocks & Frolics addict already, you probably have a pattern with my cute short sleeves. Pssst … they fit here too.

This dress can go over a jumper as a casual school dress or be worn as a stunning flower girl dress.

As shown in the gallery it makes a fabulous combo with the 'Wonderland Cardigan'. It ends just at the right point to set off the beautiful circle skirt.

Whatever fabric you choose, the video and photo tutorials have you covered. Just click on the tab next to details and start watching, you won’t be able to stop yourself making not one but a whole wardrobe of Vivienne dresses for your girl.

This pattern is so special because it includes a variety of sizes, twenty altogether, in slim fit or regular so you are sure to find just the right size.

My Favorite Dress

I could go on for hours just talking about this pattern. Seriously. This is my favorite Frocks and Frolics pattern. You cannot go wrong buying this pattern. The options are truly endless. The video tutorials are like having Marina in your home waking you thru every step and you can always ask for help in the Frocks and Frolics Facebook group, they are wonderful, extremely supportive, and Marina is always there to help. The size options are incredible, Marina drafted this for every size. You do not have to worry about ease or fit. There is a pattern for an 18 in chest, 19, 20, 21, 22, etc, etc, etc. Four different skirt options, with 3 different lengths options, and sleeve options, taking all the guess work out of how to adjust or modify the dress. If you did want to modify just ask Marina and she is always more than willing to help you create something new. Just because this is not a simple Pinafore do not let that stop you from buying this pattern. A beginner could make this beautiful the first time around. Between the instruction book and video tutorials you cannot go wrong. I have made 2 circle skirts, 2 pleated skirts and a Peplum length and have another one ready to sew. This dress gets addicting because it comes out great every time. It can be made to a simple dress to play around in or a party dress or even a formal/ bridesmaid/flower girl dress. This is a versatile pattern. You won't need another princess seam dress after buying this one. The size options are so amazing that you can even you this as a sloper. Get this pattern! You will not regret it. Then come share your creations on Facebook and Instagram. No te arrepentirás. Luego ven a compartir tus creaciones en Facebook e Instagram.

Just have to hang it and hem it. She loves the dress! It fits great, especially considering I had to make alterations since she was in between sizes (first time). Marina was incredibly helpful as well, I asked a lot of questions...??

Great!!

I love the pattern and all the options you get with this pattern for the price. I would say this is NOT for the new/beginner as all the options may make it seem intimidating at first. If you are new and read through carefully and ask questions in her group or through messages you will come out with a very beautiful dress. There are plenty of youtube videos as well to guide you along. The designer is so willing to help don't let all the pieces scare you. You don't use all of them per dress. The circle skirt w/o pleats would be a great beginner option.
